Ahmed Ahmed of Madagascar is the new CAF President with 34 votes while Issa Hayatou scores with 20 votes.

is a Malagasy football administrator(currently in his third period of office). He was a politician back home after being both a football player and coach in his younger days. Since 2003, he is the president of Malagasi Football Federation.
In March 2017, he was voted in as President of CAF, winning 34 votes to Issa Hayatou’s 20 and now the tyranny of Issa Hayatou has come to an end. He becomes the 7th Presidents of the body.Before then,he was a member of the Caf Executive Committee.
