Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno state tours Konduga in his determined effort to reconstruct houses, schools, hospitals, police stations, courts, local government secretariats and worship places among others destroyed by insurgents.

Konduga, one of the local governments areas devastated and sacked by the insurgents Boko Haram and subsequently liberated by the Nigerian Troops, is now wearing a new face.

Gov. Kashim Shettima, accompanied by the Commissioner Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Resettlement, Prof. Babagana Zulum, and other aides, were on Tueday at Konduga town, about 25 km to the southeast of Maiduguri.

The Governor was received by the Chairman of Konduga Local Government area, Alhaji Audu Ladan, who took him round as he inspected stuctures and reviewed the progress of work in the community.
