The Senate on Wednesday confirmed that the 2016 Budget proposal is indeed missing.
The Senate Leader, Senator Ali Ndume, had on Tuesday sought to dismiss the news of the missing budget late on Tuesday.
However on Wednesday during plenary, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe (PDP-Abia) confirmed that the budget is missing.
Abaribe, who came in through a Point of Order, said the matter was discussed at the closed-door session the senators had on Tuesday.

He called for an investigation into the issue.
However, the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, who fled when State House reporters confronted him with the issue on Tuesday, refused to allow the matter go for debate.
Saraki simply told Abaribe that the Senate has directed some senators to investigate the matter and come back with a report.

I am simple, shy but straight forward. But curious and inquisitive.
